9.1 Mini Hockey Is Dangerous

Using SMAHL Hockey Products involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Cuts or abrasions

  • Choking hazards

  • Damage to property

  • Impact injuries from flying balls or sticks

9.2 Protective Gear Required

You agree that eye protection, hand protection, and head protection must always be worn by anyone using the game, balls, or sticks.

9.3 Not for Children

Our Products are not toys and must not be used by children without direct adult supervision.
The storage bag is not a toy and poses a suffocation risk.

9.4 Electronic Components

Products may contain batteries and circuitry, creating risks of:

  • Electric shock

  • Battery leakage

  • Overheating

  • Fire hazards

Do not disassemble, modify, or use near liquids or extreme heat.

10. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

By purchasing or using SMAHL Hockey Products, you voluntarily and expressly assume all risks associated with their use.

This includes risks caused by accidents, improper use, negligence, impact, falls, environmental conditions, or actions of others.

If you do not accept these risks, do not purchase or use the Products.

11. LIABILITY WAIVER & RELEASE

To the fullest extent allowed by law, by purchasing or using SMAHL Hockey Products, you agree to:

  • Waive, release, and forever discharge SMAHL Hockey and its owners, employees, suppliers, affiliates, and partners from any liability, claims, or demands.

  • This includes claims related to personal injury, property damage, wrongful death, or any other loss.

  • This waiver applies even if the injury or damage is caused by negligence.

If you do not agree to this waiver, return the product unused for a refund (if applicable) and do not use it.

Your purchase and/or use is considered legal acceptance of this waiver.

12. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SMAHL Hockey from any claims, damages, legal fees, or losses arising from:

  • Performance guarantees

Some jurisdictions do not allow warranty exclusions; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • SMAHL Hockey’s total liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the Product.

  • SMAHL Hockey is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.

15. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

  • Modify or disassemble any Product

  • Attempt to bypass safety features

  • Use the storage bag as a toy

  • Allow minors to use Products unsupervised

  • Use Products in unsafe environments
